Drainage Solutions That Work – Installed by Creek to Coast Plumbing
Drainage problems don’t fix themselves. Whether it’s a blocked sewer line, a stormwater drain backing up after rain, or a pipe that’s cracked underground — we deal with drainage issues every day across Moreton Bay and the Sunshine Coast.
We’re based in Morayfield and our trucks carry CCTV cameras, pipe locators and hydro jetters. We find the problem, show you what’s going on, and give you options and an upfront price before we touch anything.

We Install Or Repair All Drainage Types
Types of Drainage Systems We Build
- Blocked Drain Clearing We use high-pressure hydro jetting to clear blockages caused by tree roots, grease, debris and foreign objects. Our jetter runs up to 5000 PSI and handles everything from kitchen drains to main sewer lines.
- CCTV Drain Camera Inspections A camera inside the pipe shows us exactly what’s causing the problem — tree roots, cracks, joint displacement, buildup. You watch the footage with us so you know what you’re paying to fix.
- Pipe Relining For cracked pipes that are still holding shape, we line them from the inside with epoxy resin. No digging, no mess. The liner seals cracks and stops roots from getting back in.
- Stormwater Drainage Blocked stormwater drains, collapsed pits, water pooling against the house after rain. We clear, repair and install stormwater drainage systems for residential and commercial properties.
- Sewer Repairs and Replacement When a sewer line has collapsed or is beyond relining, we locate the damaged section precisely with our pipe locator and excavate only where needed.
- Drainage Installation New drainage for extensions, granny flats, pools, retaining walls and landscaping. We design and install drainage solutions that handle the local rainfall patterns.
All systems are installed to council spec, with compliance and longevity front of mind.

WHY DRAINAGE FAILS IN THIS AREA
The Moreton Bay region and Sunshine Coast have specific conditions that cause drainage problems:
- Tree roots — Fig trees, camphor laurels and large eucalypts have aggressive root systems that seek out moisture. Old clay pipe joints are their entry point.
- Ageing pipes — Homes built before the mid-1990s across Caboolture, Morayfield, Narangba and Burpengary often have clay or earthenware drainage pipes. After 30 to 40 years, the joints deteriorate and the pipes crack.
- Soil conditions — Sandy soil near the coast allows pipes to shift. Heavy clay inland expands when wet and contracts when dry, putting pressure on pipe walls.
- Storm season — Southeast Queensland’s subtropical storms dump heavy rainfall in short bursts. Stormwater systems that aren’t maintained get overwhelmed. Leaves, silt and garden debris clog grates and pits.
WHY CREEK TO COAST
Over 30 years of drainage work across this area. We carry the right equipment on every truck — CCTV cameras, locators, jetters and relining gear. Most drainage jobs are diagnosed and fixed in a single visit.

Obtaining Permits and Inspections
Before starting any major plumbing work, securing the proper permits is crucial. For drainage installations, you generally need a permit from the local council, which ensures oversight and adherence to safety standards. A permit often requires submitting a Form 1 in Queensland, specifying the details of the planned work.
Once the work commences, scheduled inspections by local authorities or licensed inspectors are necessary. These inspections verify that all plumbing works are performed according to the approved plans and regulations. Failing to comply can result in fines or the need for rework, so it’s important to understand and follow these requirements closely.
